Informational packets will be available to all attendees - the meeting will cover implementation of Best Management Practices in an effort to reduce external phosphorus loading of Bear Lake.
Letters about the meeting were sent out to all Bear Lake landowners, but all members of the public are welcome to attend.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Laketon Township Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on the following matters:

1. A proposed amendment to Section 3.18 of the Township Zoning Ordinance to increase the size and number of accessory structures permitted in various residential zoning districts.
2. A proposed amendment to Section 3.20 of the Township Zoning Ordinance changing regulations governing fence placement and exempting certain structures from fencing regulations.

The hearing will be held at the Laketon Township Hall, 2735 W. Giles Road, Muskegon, MI, on May 9, 2012 at 6:15 PM.

Proposed ordinance language is available for public inspection at the township hall during normal business hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Muskegon Lake Watershed's Abandoned Oil & Gas Exploration Fields
The meeting will be at Laketon Township Hall on Thursday May 10, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

They will cover "Historic Oil and Gas Exploration and Groundwater Drinking Water Resources in the Muskegon Lake Watershed"
