You probably know that a leap day occurs once every four years on February 29 and that it's known as leap year. But....did you know that in order to be a leap year, the year has to be divisible by 400? Thus eliminating leap year 3 times every 400 years and keeping our calendar year and solar year in-sync! Today is the final day to pay any 2011 property taxes at Laketon Township offices before they are turned over delinquent to the Muskegon County Treasurer.
Any delinquent balances turned over to the Muskegon County Treasurer for collection must then be paid at the Muskegon County Treasurer's Office. |
