Laketon Township is located on the beautiful coastline of West Michigan.

Nestled between the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake - we are a premier residential and recreational community.

Township Office Hours

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

• U.S. Passports - U.S. Passports can now be processed here, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - please see the Clerk Dept. page on this website or call Clerk Christina Achterhoff for more information.

• After Hours - There is a mail slot in the door on the west side of the building - you may drop payments (no cash money) or any other paperwork in this mail slot when the office is not open.

The Township hall is closed to observe the following holidays:

• New Year's Day (January 1st)
• Martin Luther King Day
• Presidents' Day
• Good Friday
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4th)
• Labor Day
• Columbus Day
• Veteran's Day
• Thanksgiving Day &  Day After Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve (December 24th)
• Christmas Day (December 25th) 
• New Year's Eve (December 31st)

 Please note:  If a holiday falls on a Saturday the offices will be closed on the Friday before.  If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the offices will be closed on Monday.  Please call to verify all closings.
